FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON SCAR TREATMENT
A numbing cream is applied and the whole session is completed within 20 minutes and can therefore be termed painless.
Within a 4-5 days the older skin peels off so the healing is fairly quick.
Minimal side effects such as swelling, mild redness, and peeling of the skin can be expected. This can be managed by applying the prescribed topical antibacterial cream, sunscreen lotion and moisturizer.
Normally, a course of 4-6 sessions spaced out over a period of 1-2 months is required to get satisfactory results. However it all depends on the specific skin concern.
